You need 4 or more children to play this one – plus a cuddly lion, tiger or even teddy! That's the lion's cub.
Choose one person to be the lion.
The lion sits at one end of the room with their back to the other children.
They lean the lion cub up against their back. Now the other children have to sneak up and grab the toy before the lion notices!
If the lion thinks they hear someone they can roar and turn around. If they catch someone then that child becomes the lion.
If they don't they stay as a lion.
